The Ex-Box Foundation Inc. is a 501(C)(3) based in Phoenix, Arizona; aiming to build a Circular-Economy as a lifestyle. We believe in a world where sustainability for the quality of life and the environment are accessible to everyone. This is why our mission is to make every move matter for you and our planet, one cardboard box at a time.
Just as we promote a circular- economy, The Foundation operates as a circular business model to achieve its entire mission. Our BoxUp-Cycle was created to help fund and sustain our OpenBox of Opportunity Programs. The primary focus of the BoxUp-Cycle is to reutilize and repurpose cardboard boxes to create a positive impact on both the environment and moving experience for the community.
All proceeds, grants and donations go directly to growing and sustaining our OpenBox of Opportunity Programs and community BoxUp-Cycle services.

Ex-Box makes moving hassle-free by picking up your box bundles the same day you’re done — at no extra cost. We’ll collect the original boxes along with any extras you’ve accumulated during the move, so you can settle in without worrying about cleanup.

Our Assist the Future Program, believes basketball is more than just a game — it’s a powerful tool that unites people from all walks of life, teaching lessons of growth, teamwork, and resilience. Just like life, the court offers opportunities to learn from our mistakes and come back stronger. Our mission is to provide underprivileged youth in the Valley of the Sun with equal access to the game they love, free from financial barriers. We are committed to creating a space where every child can play, grow, and thrive — on and off the court. Through basketball, we aim to build a stronger, more connected community, one assist at a time.
